Teton Springs Headwater Golf Club

Golf legend Byron Nelson, PGA Touring Professional Steve Jones, and top golf course architect Gary Stephenson have combined philosophy with course design to create a masterful golf course to complement a complete community. The course, located in Teton Valley Idaho, is a short drive from the Jackson Hole area.  If your looking for a course that provides challenge and quiet enjoyment look no further.

The course, called the Headwaters Club, is a private facility but I have been lucky enough to play it during several fundraisers.  The owners are nice enough to support some of the local non-profits with use of their facility and I always take advantage of the offer.  I like this course because its different than any other course in the area.  Its openess fools you into thinking it may be an easy course but believe me this course will give you a run for your money.  Every time I've played this course its been in incredible shape, a testiment to the groundskeeping staff there.  The well designed water features and natural landscaping accentuate the true beauty of the area.

The facilities have continued to come on-line since the courses opening and now features a nice practice area, pro shop, and dining facility.  The recently added hotel provides the opportunity to make a weekend get-away possible unless you own one of the fine properties located around the course.  Besides the 18 hole championship course there is also a 9 hole par 3 course that is fun to play with the kids.
